Spotlight: The Barn at Chestnut Springs

Spotlight: The Barn at Chestnut Springs

Every now and then a venue comes along that is the best of everything:  a picturesque location, the perfect backdrop for every type of styled event possible, and owners who are accommodating and a joy to work with.

Located in the lovely hills of East Tennessee, just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, is the Barn at Chestnut Springs.  Originally used in the 50s to store tobacco, the barn was later bought and sold by Dolly Parton’s parents.  In 2007, the Lee family purchased the 13 acres and barn with the idea of providing rental cabins, but after a wise friend suggested they use the barn as an event venue, they shifted gears to turn the new dream into a reality.

After updating the barn with amazing reclaimed wood salvaged from other barns, chandeliers and modern amenities, it has now hosted a plethora of beautiful moments.
